About The Position

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Washington
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications, except where licensure is required.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred; required within 3 months of hire
• Experience in procedural, ambulatory, or acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide practical nursing care across radiology services (IR/NVIR, CT, MRI) within scope of practice, supporting safe, efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery.
• Deliver direct patient care under RN direction, including medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and point-of-care testing.
• Support pre- and post-procedure workflows: patient intake, education, preparation, and discharge instructions.
• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, complete medication reconciliation, and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Assist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, maintaining sterile technique and anticipating provider needs.
• Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, abnormal findings, or concerns to RN/provider.
• Perform accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Prepare, stock, and turnover procedure and exam rooms to maintain operational readiness.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team to ensure clear communication.
• Assist with patient transport as needed, including monitoring within scope of practice.
