As an LPN in Concierge Medicine, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience and numerous educational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system. This role provides the opportunity to expand your nursing skills through hands-on clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of patients across the lifespan. A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Home base is Fort Lauderdale, with floating to Weston as needed for high patient volumes, call-offs, PTO coverage, and other staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited LPN program
  • Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification
  • Knowledge of infection control practices
  • Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

  • One year of clinical experience
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Two years of LPN experience
  • Experience performing manual blood pressure measurements

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients.
  • Administer medication.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.
  • Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
  • Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
  • Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
  • Follow Code Blue protocol.
  • Assessing; planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the patient's progress through the entire continuum of car in conjunction with the R.N. or physician.
