About The Position
Viva Day Spa + Med Spa is hiring a Licensed Esthetician to provide exceptional skincare experiences that combine results, relaxation, education, and genuine care. The role involves using technical expertise and intuition to create personalized treatment plans that improve skin health, build confidence, and support guest goals while delivering the hospitality and professionalism associated with Viva. The esthetician will provide customized facial and skincare services, build lasting guest relationships, educate guests about treatments and home-care routines, maintain treatment documentation, and uphold sanitation and safety standards. The role also supports guest satisfaction, retention, rebooking, and retail goals, and contributes to a positive, collaborative team culture. Requirements
- Active Texas Esthetician or Cosmetology License.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience is indicated in the job title; the qualifications section says 1–2 years of professional esthetics experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of skin physiology, common skin conditions, and corrective skincare.
- Experience performing customized facials and advanced skincare treatments.
- Ability to stand and move throughout scheduled shifts.
- Ability to perform repetitive treatment movements safely and effectively.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Genuine interest in caring for people and helping them look and feel their best.
- Warm, grounded, professional, and attentive approach to guest care.
- Ability to build relationships with guests and work collaboratively with a team.
- Coachability, accountability, and commitment to excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Eminence Organic Skin Care, SkinCeuticals, Skin Better, Venn, Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, LED therapy, and other advanced skincare treatments.
- Luxury spa, hospitality, wellness, or resort experience.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
