About The Position

European Wax Center’s UPMA Group is hiring a Wax Specialist to deliver full-body waxing services for women and men using the company’s proprietary comfort wax and techniques. Specialists educate guests about waxing frequency and recommend proprietary products for at-home care. The role begins with Hub-let new-hire training led by Regional Wax Trainers and offers technical and leadership career paths.

The specialist maintains a clean, sanitized, and stocked waxing suite in accordance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) safety and health procedures. Scheduling requires flexibility across a variety of shifts and work on at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week. An active Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license is strictly required. Brazilian waxing for male guests is optional and requires specialized advanced training.

Requirements

• Hold a current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.
• Be comfortable performing all face and body waxing services for male and female guests.
• Be flexible to work a variety of shifts and at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week.
• Be hardworking, honest, punctual, coachable, and eager to learn new techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to perform Brazilian waxing services for male guests after specialized advanced training; this service is optional.
