WAX SPECIALIST
About The Position
As a Licensed Esthetician – Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you will deliver high-quality, efficient waxing services in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and help every guest leave feeling confident. Newly licensed estheticians are welcome and will receive training. You will receive consistent training and observation to develop your waxing skills, with opportunities to advance as your skills grow. This is a sales-, commission-, and tip-driven role in which earnings are tied to serving and retaining guests. Requirements
- Valid state Esthetician, Cosmetology, or Waxing license.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to conduct clear and effective guest consultations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide precise, efficient waxing services.
- Ability to adapt to different guest preferences and comfort levels.
- Knowledge of skincare and waxing products and the ability to recommend products based on guest needs.
- Self-motivated and process-focused.
- Commitment to state sanitation and licensing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
- Ability to stand at a wax table for an entire shift, change activities often as business requires, and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Continuous talking and hearing when communicating with guests, team members, and management.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality, efficient waxing services according to European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
- Build a loyal guest base by rebooking guests and delivering an outstanding experience at every visit.
- Recommend European Wax Center products to help guests achieve the best results and contribute to center sales.
- Meet sales performance metrics, including rebooking, guest retention, and product sales.
- Keep the wax suite clean, sanitized, and up to brand standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and observations to continue developing waxing skills.
- Bring a positive, team-first attitude that reflects the company’s Core Values.
