About The Position

As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you deliver waxing services to guests and help create a positive, confidence-boosting experience. The work is primarily indoors in a moderate, controlled temperature environment. The position requires adapting to changes in activity, communicating with guests and colleagues, accepting constructive feedback, and performing physical tasks that include standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. Work hours may change as business needs dictate.

Requirements

• Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to conduct clear and effective guest consultations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide precise, efficient waxing services.
• Self-motivation and a process-focused approach.
• Ability to adapt to different guest preferences and comfort levels.
• Knowledge of skincare and waxing products and the ability to recommend products based on individual guest needs.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Adherence to state sanitation and licensing requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to adapt to frequently changing activity and maneuver between simultaneous functions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit as required, and to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality waxing services according to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
• Build a book of business and retain guests by using rebook scripts and delivering an excellent guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
• Educate guests about European Wax Center products to enhance their experience and results.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all waxing suites.
• Maintain Wax Specialist key performance indicators according to brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive, professional work environment while upholding Artemis Wax Core Values.
• Train and role-model the behaviors and processes established by European Wax Center.
