WAX SPECIALIST
About The Position
As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you deliver waxing services and help create a positive, confidence-boosting experience for guests. The role requires professionalism, strong guest service, and adherence to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, protocols, and techniques. The position is located in Montvale, New Jersey, and is listed as part-time or full-time, with an any-shift schedule Monday through Sunday. Compensation is listed as $13.00–$25.00 base plus commission per month. The work is performed mostly indoors in a moderate, controlled-temperature environment.
Requirements
- Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear, effective consultations with guests.
- Strong attention to detail to provide precise and efficient waxing services.
- Self-motivation and a process-focused approach.
- Ability to adapt to varying guest preferences and comfort levels.
- Knowledge of skincare and waxing products and the ability to recommend products based on individual guest needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adherence to state sanitation and licensing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in activity as business requires.
- Ability to maneuver between simultaneous functions at a well-paced rate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality waxing services according to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
- Build a book of business and retain guests by using rebook scripts and delivering an excellent guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
- Educate guests about European Wax Center products to enhance their experience and results.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in waxing suites.
- Maintain Wax Specialist key performance indicators according to brand standards.
- Contribute to a positive, professional work environment and uphold Artemis Wax Core Values.
- Train and model the behaviors and processes expected by European Wax Center.
