About The Position

As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you deliver waxing services and help create a positive, confidence-boosting experience for guests. The work is performed mostly indoors in a moderate, controlled-temperature environment. The role requires adapting to changing business activity, communicating with guests and colleagues, accepting constructive feedback, and maneuvering between simultaneous functions. Standing, walking, and sitting are required; the posting does not specify the number of hours spent on these tasks. The position involves continuous talking and hearing while communicating with clients, coworkers, and management, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear, effective guest consultations.

• Ability to adapt to different guest preferences and comfort levels.
• Knowledge of skincare and waxing products and ability to recommend products based on individual guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality waxing services in accordance with Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
• Build a book of business and retain guests by using rebook scripts and delivering an excellent guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
• Educate guests about European Wax Center products to enhance their experience and results.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all waxing suites.
• Maintain Wax Specialist key performance indicators (KPIs) according to brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment while upholding Artemis Wax Core Values.
• Train and model the behaviors and processes expected by European Wax Center.
