WAX SPECIALIST
About The Position
As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you deliver waxing services to guests while creating a positive, confidence-boosting experience. The role requires professionalism, high-quality service, guest education, and adherence to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards. The position is part-time or full-time, based in Marlton, New Jersey, with any shift Monday through Sunday. The listed salary range is $11.00–$40.00 base plus commission per month. Most work is performed indoors in a moderate, controlled-temperature environment. The role involves communicating with guests, coworkers, and management; adapting to changing activity; and standing, walking, or sitting for varying lengths of time. The job description states that team members must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to an unspecified number of hours per day, maneuver between simultaneous activities, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear, effective guest consultations.
- Strong attention to detail to provide precise and efficient waxing services.
- Self-motivated and process-focused.
- Ability to adapt to varying guest preferences and comfort levels.
- Knowledge of skincare and waxing products, with the ability to recommend products based on individual guest needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adherence to state sanitation and licensing requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others, and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in activity as business needs require.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality waxing services according to Artemis Wax and European Wax Center standards, patterns, protocols, and techniques.
- Build a book of business and retain guests by using rebook scripts and delivering an excellent guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
- Educate guests about European Wax Center products to enhance their experience and results.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards in all waxing suites.
- Maintain Wax Specialist key performance indicators (KPIs) according to brand standards.
- Contribute to a positive and professional work environment while upholding Artemis Wax Core Values.
- Train and model the behaviors and processes established by European Wax Center.
