About The Position
Legacy Restoration, LLC is hiring a full-time Field Inspector – Exterior Restorations and Insurance Claims Specialist in Kansas City, KS. This role is for individuals who think in clear facts, speak with confidence, and thrive outdoors. The position involves helping families recover after storms, accidents, and the wear of time, offering tangible, meaningful, and appreciated work. The role is supported by a team culture that values preparation, professionalism, and follow-through.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation capable of hauling a ladder
- Ability to set up and climb ladders
- Ability to inspect steep and multi-story roofs
- Ability to safely navigate exterior environments
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable climbing steep roofs (12' pitch and higher)
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with AccuLynx
- Prior experience with exterior restorations or insurance claim inspections
Responsibilities
- Start early, review prepared scope, and head to the site ready to lead.
- Set the tone at adjuster meetings by arriving early, aligning expectations, and presenting a complete, fact-based picture of the damage.
- Climb steep, multi-story roofs, capture precise measurements and photos, and document everything in AccuLynx.
- Partner closely with the Project Manager.
- Keep appointments on time.
- Focus on achieving buy-rate goals for initial and reinspection inspections.
- Tell the story of the damage with clarity.
- Help a homeowner move forward.
- Drive results for the team.
