About The Position
The City of Brooks is seeking a Part-time Lifeguard to join their Aquatics team at the EID Aquatic Centre. This position primarily requires daytime availability, with potential for evening and weekend shifts. It offers advancement opportunities in the aquatics field. The role involves ensuring pool and lifeguarding duties meet user, City, and regulating authority standards.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- National Lifeguard Certificate
- Standard First Aid Certification
- Swim Instructor Certificate
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong public relations, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A clean criminal records check will be required before an offer of employment is presented to the successful applicant (18 years of age and older).
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that pool and lifeguarding duties are performed to meet user, City, and regulating authority standards.
