About The Position
Northbridge University Nursing Program is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Adjunct Instructor - Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Faculty member to join our team. The P/T Nursing Adjunct Instructor - Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings and laboratory environments. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to excellence in teaching and student success. The Faculty member provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment in their chosen field of study by leveraging teaching skills, experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing, and effective environment, thereby actively retaining and successfully graduating students from their program of study.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (unencumbered).
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Minimum two years of recent clinical experience in mental health/psychiatric nursing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching or precepting experience preferred but not required.
