About The Position

Requirements

• Excellent internal and external customer service skills are required to be displayed at all times
• Minimum one year of cleaning experience in a commercial environment preferred
• Dedicated to optimal customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Specific knowledge of floor care, commercial cleaning products, WHMIS
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment and/or independently
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform tasks and duties effectively and safely within prescribed time limits
• The ability to successfully pass a criminal record and credit check through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)

Responsibilities

• Maintain a physical presence throughout the Casino to ensure areas are kept clean, fully stocked and free of debris
• Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, and wax floors as required or as scheduled
• Safeguard all confidential information and to exercise due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use
• Maintain the Casino in a manner which reduces slips, trips and fall hazards
• Ensure all supplies are being used in a proper manner
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately
• Maintain a good public relations with patrons and employees
• Other duties may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Facilities Manager
