About The Position

Caregivers/Home Health Aides provide support to clients in their homes. Duties may include personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; conversation and companionship; light housekeeping; meal preparation; and medication reminders. Some clients may need additional assistance, including Hoyer lift support or dementia care. Various days and shifts are available, including weekdays, weekends, days, and evenings. Part-time and full-time hours are available, up to 40 hours per week. The position requires a cleared Level 2 background check. The employer provides caregivers with personal protective equipment, including gloves and masks, at no cost.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of home care, senior care, or hospitality experience; caring for a loved one or friend may count as caregiving experience.
  • A cleared Florida Level 2 background screening; the employer can help candidates get started.
  • Current CPR certificate; classes are offered by the employer.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide conversation and companionship.
  • Perform light housekeeping.
  • Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
  • Provide additional client care as needed, which may include Hoyer lift assistance or dementia care.
