About The Position

As a Residential Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals. HCRS is a team of committed providers and business leaders passionate about transforming the lives of those living in our community. We strive for excellence and have achieved significant and measurable improvement in clinical outcomes for the more than 4,000 clients we serve.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges
  • A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
  • A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set appropriate boundaries.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field

Responsibilities

  • Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop independent living skills.
  • Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop emotional regulation skills.
