About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional healthcare setting.
• Completion of a finger-stick within the last 1–2 years.
• Proficiency with finger-stick blood collection methods and manual blood pressure measurement.
• Formal medical education, including current appropriate medical certification.
• Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable.
• Skills in proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation, and storage.
• Ability to travel to screening event locations.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds.
• Fine hand dexterity and steadiness, and ability to examine and observe details.
• Access to a computer, voicemail, email, internet connection, and Internet Explorer browser.

Nice To Haves

• Previous medical or clinical laboratory background.
• CardioChek Plus experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screenings at client sites, including finger-stick blood collection, BMI, blood pressure, height and weight measurements, and other services specified by the service package.
• Provide basic health coaching based on individuals’ screening results.
• Perform basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at health screenings.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Participate in training, retraining, and continuing education programs as necessary.
• Comply with designated safety policies and procedures, including using applicable protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents.
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards during events.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
