About The Position
Mural Group is recruiting on behalf of a very well-funded energy company transitioning from R&D into construction and manufacturing at scale. This hands-on leadership role will build and lead recruiting for every phase of the company’s growth. The company offers substantial resources, including leaders and investors who can participate in recruiting calls and a team of experienced builders. The Head of Talent Acquisition will lead a recruiting team and help set a high hiring bar, while personally running or closing the most critical searches, especially senior engineering roles. The position is based onsite in Los Angeles, including weekends.
Requirements
- Recruiting leadership experience at a high-growth, venture-backed company.
- Deep technical recruiting experience, including the ability to discuss engineering problems and engage strong engineers.
- Sharp, emotionally intelligent judgment about people.
- Working knowledge of recruiting operations.
- Willingness to work onsite with the team, including weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience hiring across R&D, manufacturing, or construction workforces.
- Background in hard tech, energy, or aerospace.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of recruiters, a recruiting lead, and a coordinator.
- Set the hiring bar and coach recruiters to find and attract exceptional candidates.
- Personally run or close the most critical searches, especially senior engineering hires.
- Involve company leadership and investors in the recruiting close at appropriate moments.
- Plan hiring across R&D, construction, and manufacturing as the company scales.
- Maintain healthy recruiting operations, with support from a people systems partner.
