About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of sterile processing experience is required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in healthcare or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and monitoring equipment
• Passing instruments
• Maintaining the sterile field
• Assisting with patient transfer/positioning
• Performing a variety of surgical skills and procedures
• Provides clinical support
• Serves as the expert resource and lead person within the service area
