Graduate Nurse - Med/Surg
About The Position
The Graduate Nurse (GN) provides nursing care to assigned patients, including evaluating their needs and planning, implementing, and documenting care. The role serves a diverse patient population with complex concerns and performs patient tests and administers medications within the registered nurse’s scope of practice. The nurse promotes patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Full-time openings are available on day and night shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. New registered nurse graduates are supported through the Vizient Graduate Nurse Residency Program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
