About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within six months of hire.
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Continuously and systematically assess patients’ health status, prioritizing and reprioritizing care based on assessment.
• Initiate and maintain an individual plan of care based on identified patient problems or needs, assessment data, and nursing standards and practices.
• Collaborate with patients, primary care providers, families, and internal and community resources to coordinate discharge and transfer needs.
• Prioritize, perform, and delegate direct and indirect interventions needed to stabilize trauma patients.
• Prioritize and perform interventions necessary for patient triage.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
