About The Position
Located inside the iconic Presidio National Park overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio Golf Course offers a unique opportunity to work at one of the most scenic and historic golf facilities in the country. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Operations team as Golf Shop Attendants. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, customer service, golf, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Golf Shop Attendants are often the first and last interaction our guests have during their visit, making this role a key part of delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and professional appearance
Nice To Haves
- Golf knowledge preferred, but not required
- Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operation of the golf shop and outside golf services while providing outstanding customer service to members, guests, tournament participants, and visitors.
- Check in golfers and process green fees, cart fees, merchandise purchases, and other transactions.
- Answer phones and assist guests with reservations, questions, and general course information.
- Manage tee sheet flow and help maintain pace of play throughout the day.
- Coordinate first tee operations by organizing groups and pairing players when needed.
- Communicate daily course conditions, policies, and operational updates to guests.
- Assist with tournament and event operations as needed.
- Promote golf shop merchandise, upcoming events, instruction programs, and club initiatives.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory, merchandising displays, and restocking product.
- Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and register reconciliation.
- Work collaboratively with golf operations, outside services, food & beverage, and events teams.
