• Ability to generate leads organically and use social media effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise and educate clients on the home-buying or refinance process and ways to manage their mortgage needs.
• Contribute mortgage-loan information to strategic plans and reviews, implement operational and customer-service standards, resolve problems, and identify system improvements.
• Assist in preparing credit information to establish a qualifying range, considering applicants’ assets, credit experience, and income under predetermined standards.
• Maintain records of credit transactions, inquiries, pending loans, loan activity by representative, and daily loan listings.
• Attract new mortgage loan applications by building community relationships, particularly with the real estate community, and making sales calls to prospective customers.
• Monitor collection, verification, and preparation of mortgage-loan documentation; schedule and complete mortgage-loan closings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support The Michigan First Way, including Our Promise, 5 STARS Service, SOLVE IT, and the organization’s ISMs.
• Represent the organization professionally and maintain a positive demeanor in interactions with team members and members.
• Apply the organization’s ISMs in daily work and business interactions while executing goals and initiatives.
• Learn and use EMEC (Every Member’s Experience Counts) in day-to-day responsibilities when communicating with members.
