The Financial Analyst is responsible for completing financial analysis for the organization, creating proformas and assisting with business plans for new projects, engaging in capital and operating budget processes, producing financial reports and presenting observations in response to requests of organizational leadership and to meeting identified organizational needs and goals for ProHealth Care as they pertain to the Financial Services department. Provides support to Financial Services co-workers, employees, leaders and physicians throughout the organization and to external customers. While performing the responsibilities of a Financial Analyst, this individual will also be assigned a primary role of responsibility and be expected to be the knowledge expert on that function for the department. The Financial Analyst also evaluates financial performance, conducts lease-versus-buy assessments and proforma-to-actual reviews, identifies process improvement opportunities, and communicates financial findings through written reports and presentations. Success in this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and financial modeling skills. Core areas that may be assigned are the following: Capital Planning & Tracking/Forecasting/Fixed Assets/Financing, Proforma Business Plan Modeling (Enterprise wide new business ventures), Ad hoc Reporting/Analysis: Value Analysis Projects/Operational Service Modeling/Economic Impact Measurement.
