About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience (1-3 years) in a logistics, warehouse, or material handling role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, and material specifications.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Switchgear (SWGR) components or similar large industrial equipment is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming SWGR materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space and accessibility.
• Execute material picking and kitting processes for production orders, ensuring correct quantities and part numbers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with materials or products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping departments to ensure smooth material flow.
