About The Position

The Service Technician will provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance services on Renewal by Andersen products. This is a field-based role utilizing a company vehicle; a motor vehicle record check will be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma and valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Basic construction techniques
• good knowledge of basic construction and building materials
• knowledge of terminology of the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to confidently handle confrontation/conflicts using a tactful and diplomatic approach.
• Basic math skills, legible writing, basic personal computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem-solving and decision-making.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills; strong listening and empathy skills; organization skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years window installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed RbA products.
• Analyzes customers' situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner.
• Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Provide accurate part descriptions, including part numbers, to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
