About The Position
The Solid Surface Fabricators cut, shape, build and assemble solid surface countertops, thermo-form and clad vertical surfaces.
Requirements
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools required
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to read blueprints
- Good mathematical skills
- Basic computer skills required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Custom Commercial fabrication required
- Regularly require the ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach
- Regularly require the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Periodically require the ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds

- Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of machinery to complete the fabrication and/or assembly of projects.
- Read shop drawings to analyze the scope of the project.
- Availability to work overtime, as needed, to meet deadlines
- Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead or Manager.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.
- Follow the prescribed safety regulations
