About The Position
The Conveyor Belt Fabricator is responsible for pulling, picking, and fabricating conveyor belt assemblies and packaging products for shipping. The role supports order processing, inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and safe, quality-focused operations. Duties also include assisting with hose fabrication and general warehouse and facility support as needed. The position works primarily in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Occasional overtime may be required to meet shipping schedules, inventory requirements, and business demands. This is a drug-free workplace.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience fabricating conveyor belt assemblies.
- Ability to read work orders and fabricate according to the details listed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hand tools experience.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Responsibilities
- Slit, lace, and cleat conveyor belts using in-house equipment.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production, customer orders, or internal distribution.
- Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing orders according to customer and carrier requirements.
- Return unused materials to designated warehouse locations and maintain inventory control.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and promptly report issues.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with fabricating hoses and with picking, packing, and pulling orders as needed.
- Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and general facility support as needed.
