About The Position
Expeditors at Westmoor Country Club will ensure the efficient flow of orders from the back-of-house kitchen team to the front-of-house service team for a la carte dining, special events, and private functions. Part-time (20-25 hours per week on average) positions are available with an opportunity for overtime and/or extra shifts during peak seasons.
Requirements
- Flexible work schedule; able to work varying shifts to include holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Enthusiasm for providing personal, professional, and welcoming service to members and guests
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred
- Experience in a private club or resort setting is a plus
- In-house training is available
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders from the kitchen to the appropriate dining area in a timely manner
- Assist the lead expeditor in the final preparation of dishes
- Set-up and maintain buffets
- Professionally and effectively communicate with members and fellow employees
- Maintain high standards of quality and sanitation
- Assist in daily set-up and take-down of dining facilities to include moving furniture
- Maintain cleanliness of expeditor areas of the kitchen
- Assist with stocking work stations, re-setting vacated tables, private event set-up, organize storage areas, and any other miscellaneous duties required to maintain the dining areas
