About The Position

Completes loading of finished product from machines onto pallets. This role involves setting up equipment, replenishing packaging supplies, monitoring waste reduction, ensuring correct product information, completing paperwork, adjusting equipment for efficiency, recording data for downtime and quality assurance, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety devices are operational. The position requires working with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency, adhering to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices. It also mandates wearing required PPE and following plant safety rules. Training employees is also a part of the role. This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.

Requirements

Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Must be Pallet jack certified.
MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO WORK FOR MONOGRAM APPETIZERS

Responsibilities

Set up equipment for starts up and changes over
Replenish packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheets, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels
Position and hold container in machine, press button, or move lever to clean, glue, label or tape container
Monitor waste reductions
Ensure correct date codes, labels, master cases being used
Ensure all paperwork is done correctly such as Case Sealer report, pallet tickets, pallet patterns and case counts
Adjust equipment for efficient operations
Record data for downtime & quality assurance
Complete preventive maintenance as needed
Ensure all safety devices are operable and being used
Work with enthusiasm and sense of urgency daily
Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices
Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as provided
Must follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and procedures
Perform other duties and required or directed
Training employees as needed to backfill or cover this position
