About The Position

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis, risk assessments, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to train and influence diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to EHS management.

• Experience in manufacturing or the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems, policies, procedures, and programs consistent with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and Jabil’s global EHS standards.
• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments; identify hazards and compliance gaps; and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate EHS incidents, accidents, and near misses, determine root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees at all levels.
• Manage environmental permits, waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and chemical management to ensure compliance and minimize environmental impact.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, human resources, and other teams to integrate EHS considerations into business activities.
• Monitor and analyze EHS metrics, prepare reports, present findings to management, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Stay current on EHS regulations, technologies, and best practices.
• Serve as an EHS technical resource and subject matter expert for employees and management.
• Participate in emergency response planning and drills and provide support during crises.
