About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A master’s degree or PhD may substitute for two years of experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience is acceptable.
• Experience in requirements management and requirements elicitation.
• Familiarity with process improvement techniques.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and pass a government security investigation.
• Polished systems engineering experience working with senior leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Process engineering, Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement experience.
• Management consultancy or similar experience.
• Ability to proactively contact high-level customers, understand their process and system workflows, and develop requirements for improved systems and processes.
• Familiarity with customer policy and engagement initiatives.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements for an efficiency-focused organization, recommend improvements, and ensure critical requirements are retained.
• Engage internal and external personnel to improve organizational processes, including helping the organization operate more like a business.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and help implement process changes that can scale to other organizations.
