About The Position

Hinge Health is a digital health company that delivers evidence-based musculoskeletal pain solutions through personalized exercise therapy and virtual care. The company partners with employers and health plans, and is expanding its services to integrate digital and in-person care. It is also improving how member data is ingested and handled, with a focus on security, observability, and traceability. The Sr. Software Engineer will join the Accounts team and build backend services and account experiences, with a strong focus on user identity and account management—including registration, authentication, authorization, and identity-provider integrations. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, performant, and accessible applications, and help define technical foundations for a product in its early stages. Backend engineers architect and implement end-to-end solutions, build well-tested and performant APIs and data models, profile systems to identify scaling bottlenecks, and contribute to constructive code reviews. The team uses a continuous-deployment DevOps approach and supports its code in production. Its production systems use Golang, gRPC, AWS, Postgres, Redis, and Temporal; its workflow is trunk-based CI/CD. The company maintains healthcare security and compliance standards including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and CCPA.
