INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward. We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our remanufacturing engineering team. In this role, you will develop, validate, and document the tear down of large industrial gas engines and optimizing process flow with operators at our Oak Creek, WI facility. You will apply strong technical expertise to analyze data, resolve complex issues, and continuously improve process performance. Your work will help ensure we deliver high-quality remanufactured products to our customers while maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
  • Understanding of GD&T tolerancing and function.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to reduce cost, improve sustainability, and establish best practices across production.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; collaborating with equipment vendors; and gathering insights from operators.
  • Use CAD/CAM software to create, optimize, and improve machining processes.
  • Ensure product and process quality by developing testing methods, assessing finished-product and process capabilities, establishing quality standards, and validating manufacturing processes.
  • Support manufacturing decision-making by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future operational requirements.
  • Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data and trends.
  • Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer instructions and established procedures; and arranging specialty services as needed.
  • Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Interface effectively with vendors and internal partners to ensure clear communication of technical requirements and EHS expectations.
