Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering
  • 5+ year or professional experience in C# and .NET development
  • 5+ years of experience with unit/integration testing
  • 3+ years of professional experience building services or full stack applications using technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, React, Angular, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with CI/CD deployment pipelines and Git-based source control workflows in a production software development environment
  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions hosted within public cloud providers such as Azure/AWS, etc.
  • 1+ year of AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Azure application hosting
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing staff including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Ability to lead peers as well as teams not under your direct management. Great articulation skills and stakeholder management experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
  • Help the teams improve efficiency, quality and speed of their development processes.
  • Rally entire cross-functional teams around major goals and initiatives.
  • Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
  • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
  • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
  • Design and Develop APIs/micro services in C#/.net core and UI in Angular or React
