About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to an IC Research and Development customer. The customer applies research to real-world solutions across engineering, development, integration and test, and operations, with worldwide impacts. The engineer will maintain and enhance an existing financial dashboard application as customer requirements evolve, contribute to gathering requirements and designing new features, support customers, deliver training and demonstrations, and maintain application documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum experience: bachelor’s degree and five or more years of computer systems, software, or systems engineering experience; master’s degree and three or more years of experience; or PhD and zero years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and analytics.
• Must be DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant with a current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience developing web applications and web services using ASP.NET and C#.
• Experience using MVC, JSON, WPF, HTML, CSS3, and VB.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications.
• Competence with SQL Server or another RDBMS and TFS or another source configuration management system.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and active polygraph.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of or desire to learn government financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the existing financial dashboard application based on evolving customer requirements.
• Support requirements gathering and design of new features.
• Provide customer support through email, phone, and in-person question-and-answer sessions.
• Provide one-on-one and group customer training and demonstration sessions.
• Maintain application documentation.
