About The Position

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Engineering, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that allows successful performance of job expectations.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
• Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions to improve the manufacture of new and existing Applied Composites products.
• Use existing procedures to solve standard problems and analyze information and practices to make judgments.
• Exchange straightforward technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
• Participate in the team's design and development work for new products.
• Contribute to process improvements that can directly impact the growth efforts of operations.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
