Micron Technology is seeking a Probe Equipment Engineer to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and/or processes in an assigned area, partnering with production team members and area engineers. The role establishes and improves process conditions and technology, upgrades process capability, reduces production costs, establishes and modifies process-management projects, and sets process parameters for semiconductor equipment. It resolves recurring problems by identifying and eliminating root causes, and documents equipment-related changes through ECNs with supporting data when appropriate. The engineer must understand area processes and how equipment-condition changes affect them, collect data, support deep-dive analysis of tool performance and matching, prioritize work based on area needs, and respond appropriately to tool trends or yield concerns. The employer accepts a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, plus 36 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The estimated U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $118,892.70–$177,000.00.
