About The Position

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Assembly/Test Maintenance Technician to support its semiconductor manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The role supports back-end assembly and test equipment and offers development opportunities in the design and manufacture of high-reliability semiconductors. This position is 100% onsite. Candidates must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for access to ITAR-controlled articles or technical data. Eligible individuals include U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Requirements

AS/ASEET in electronic engineering technology, military training, or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
At least 5 years supporting back-end assembly/test equipment, including wafer saws, die attach equipment, wire bonders, automatic wafer probers, device handlers, and mixed-signal ATE.
At least 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience in equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with Mil-STD 883 methods, Z540 calibration procedures, and ESD practices.
Strong mechanical skills.
Strong electronic skills.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
Ability to work on complex electrical systems operating at 120, 240, and 480 volts.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must meet applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support back-end semiconductor assembly and test equipment, including wafer saws, die attach equipment, wire bonders, automatic wafer probers, device handlers, and mixed-signal ATE.
Work on complex electrical systems, including systems operating at 120, 240, and 480 volts.
Support semiconductor manufacturing equipment maintenance activities.
