About The Position

This role supports the Emergency Department in patient care tasks, patient interactions, supply stocking, transportation of patients, and assisting with procedures. The role utilizes clinical knowledge to assist with patient needs and allows for professional development in areas of clinical skills, communication, and customer service. Daily work includes utilizing phones, answering call lights, working with peers, and patient interaction.

Requirements

  • Maintains BCLS certification
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to evaluate the criticality of patient needs
  • Must possess superior customer relation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one-year emergency/urgent care experience or college education equivalent
  • EMT licensure
