Requirements

  • Retired or former educator.
  • Content expert in secondary math.
  • Experience as an educator in a secondary school setting.
  • Charismatic and driven personality.
  • Familiarity with various educational software or tools.
  • Strong desire to make a meaningful difference for students, educators, and districts.
  • Deep expertise in secondary-level mathematics content and pedagogy.
  • A charismatic, driven professional who motivates and leads with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to build rapport with teachers, administrators, and school communities.
  • Skilled at coaching and supporting adult learners in instructional improvement.
  • Competent in using data to inform instructional decisions and monitor student growth.
  • Adaptable and resilient - comfortable working in diverse school settings, including rural and near-border contexts.
  • Knowledgeable about educational dynamics in Iowa and the surrounding Nebraska border area.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to integrity, service, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Not currently under contract with a school district or employed full-time elsewhere.
