About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in DevSecOps Principles with a master’s degree in a relevant field. In lieu of a master’s a bachelor’s with 18 years of experience is acceptable.
• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Experience with AWS and cloud technologies
• Good grasp of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
• Networking experience
• Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
• Good knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
• Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Java, Node.js, Terraform Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
• Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
• Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
• Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
• Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field
• Active Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with writing custom Helm Charts
• Basic experience with Big Data
• Multilingual programming abilities
• Knowledge in automation languages like Python or GoLang

Responsibilities

• Actively developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
• Ensuring processes are both secure and efficient
• Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions
• Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process
• Actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery
• Ensure that development and software continuous delivery and integrations uses security best practices throughout the process
• Ensure capabilities deployed meet security requirements and test
• Work with cloud deployment activities to ensure configurations meet STIG or DOD security standards
