About The Position
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and automate cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, Azure DevOps, secret management, Helm, and Microsoft Azure cloud services, along with a strong theoretical understanding of Istio and Argo CD.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
- Hands-on experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with secret management tools such as Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, or similar solutions.
- Experience creating and managing Helm charts.
- Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
- Familiarity with scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and Azure Key Vault.
- Technical expertise in Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, secret management, Helm, Azure cloud services, Istio, and Argo CD.
- Strong theoretical understanding of Istio and Argo CD.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Create, manage, and maintain Helm charts for application deployments.
- Implement and manage secret management solutions to support secure application deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
- Support infrastructure automation and configuration management initiatives.
- Apply DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps principles.
- Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources using Azure services.
- Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and production support.
