About The Position
The Design Consultant is responsible for collaborating with our teams from Design, Operations, Manufacturing, and Installation to create one-of-a-kind kitchen designs. This role involves promoting and selling products and services to retail customers, renovators, and small home builders, designing dream kitchens according to client needs, managing orders, providing customer support, and prospecting for new business. The consultant will also be responsible for site measure-mark outs and installation inspections. These responsibilities are typical elements and criteria to perform the job successfully.
Requirements
- An entrepreneurial spirit, passion for design, and a drive for success
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of building codes and compliance issues
- Minimum of one year of experience in kitchen design and sales
- Experience in design software such as 2020 Design Technologies, AutoCAD, etc.
- A valid driver’s license (and vehicle)
Nice To Haves
- A degree or diploma from an accredited interior design or architecture program will be considered an asset
