About The Position

Requirements

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Possess certifications, licensure, or registration required by the state.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures.
• Provide postoperative instructions and patient education.
• Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Maintain compliance with infection-control requirements and CDC, OSHA, and HIPPA standards.
• Maintain dental supply inventory.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork while assisting providers who may change based on practice needs.
