About The Position

Frankel & Puhl Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant to help deliver compassionate, patient-centered dental care. The role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, helping patients feel comfortable, supporting infection control, and contributing to an orderly practice environment. The practice emphasizes modern technology, patient comfort, a supportive team culture, and care focused on health rather than sales or production quotas. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday off, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The salary range is $20–$25 per hour. Benefits are available according to employment status; the posting specifies that all listed benefits are available to full-time employees working 30 or more hours weekly, with some benefits also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

Prior dental assisting experience.
Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
A resume demonstrating a consistent and stable employment history.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits.
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures.
Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans as prescribed.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
Follow OSHA and safety policies.
Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
Perform office tasks as necessary.
