About The Position

Van Buren Dental, part of Dental365, is hiring a Dental Assistant to help deliver compassionate, patient-focused dental care in a modern practice environment. The role involves supporting a variety of dental procedures, helping patients feel comfortable, and contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming practice. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary is $22–$25 per hour. Benefits described as available to full-time employees require at least 30 hours per week; some benefits are also available to part-time employees.

Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience or education.
• Any certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits.
• Assist with a variety of dental procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control requirements.
• Sanitize and prepare operatories for treatments.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
• Perform office tasks as necessary.
