About The Position

The Budd Group is hiring a full-time Janitorial Day Porter to work onsite at a manufacturing facility in Clayton, North Carolina. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and pays $13.50 per hour. The porter helps keep the facility clean, welcoming, and operating smoothly, serving as the lead custodian on site and supporting general cleaning tasks assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of cleaning, custodian, or porter experience.
  • Ability to comfortably and repeatedly lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable, friendly attitude and readiness to serve the client community.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain building cleanliness as the lead custodian on site.
  • Restock restrooms and promptly put away incoming supplies.
  • Empty trash bins, sweep, dust, and vacuum high-traffic areas.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks assigned by the supervisor.
