About The Position

Under direction, interprets data to help organizations make informed decisions. Collects, processes, analyzes, and presents data in a concise format or presentation. Conducts research, analyzes complex statistical data, develops planning timetables, evaluates systems policies and procedures, and makes recommendations to achieve goals and objectives. May exercise functional or technical supervision over assigned staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a relevant field, including but not limited to data analysis or statistical modeling.
  • Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility.
  • Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A & B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and Family Violence Convictions.
  • Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to work primarily in an office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible municipal court and/or magistration experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Municipal Court Clerk Certification Level II/III highly desired.
  • Strong experience supporting high-level administrators and working in positions of trust.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community partners, including law enforcement and community agencies.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and calm demeanor in high-stress environments.
  • Experience in public speaking, presenting, and creating reports, surveys, and marketing materials.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, cleans, and analyzes data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Performs data analysis to help identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Applies statistical methods and data modeling techniques to interpret data and make predictions.
  • Compiles and cleans databases and data collection systems for optimal data quality and efficiency.
  • Designs reporting dashboards to translate data to an understandable illustrative format to non-technical audiences.
  • Performs basic and advanced statistical analyses with quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Leads collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant data-driven solutions.
  • Ensures data privacy and security compliance in all data handling and processing activities.
  • Stays updated with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends for continuous improvement.
  • Researches technical issues and provides solutions; makes technological recommendations for improvements.
  • May assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
  • Uses findings to make data-driven recommendations for practices, programming, and policies.
  • Prepares and completes ad-hoc reporting requests, summaries, and presentations.
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
