About The Position
This full-time personal chef position offers a unique opportunity for culinary professionals seeking better work-life balance and career growth compared to traditional restaurant roles. The position involves working with 8-9 clients weekly, managing grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, and kitchen cleanup. Chefs will have the freedom to explore various cuisines and build relationships with clients. Beyond weekly meal preparation, responsibilities include hosting private dining events, teaching cooking classes, leading corporate team-building workshops, and supporting special projects like menu design and event catering.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of line experience.
- ServSafe Manager certification.
- State-specific Allergen certification.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Culinary Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Cooking: 4 years (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience/familiarity with computer/email/Google Workspaces/social media is preferred.
- Sense of urgency.
- People skills.
- Attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Handle weekly grocery shopping for clients.
- Plan weekly menus.
- Cook meals for clients.
- Perform kitchen cleanup after cooking.
- Host intimate private dining events and dinner parties.
- Teach cooking classes as a culinary instructor.
- Lead corporate team-building cooking workshops.
- Support special projects such as menu design and event catering.
