About The Position

Provide organizational support through financial analysis by collecting, monitoring, and studying data. Conduct business analysis, financial analysis, and variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis methodologies and concepts.
  • General knowledge of the consumer products manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency using a financial analysis solution or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution (i.e., SAP).
  • Knowledge of AI platforms (Chat GPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.)
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Organizational skills and the ability to maintain complex information in a logical and well-thought-out fashion.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with persons at all levels within the Company.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex data.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in business operations and/or support organizations preferred
  • Valid Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Organizing information and developing reporting tools/presentations to enable decision making across functions and leadership teams
  • Maintain and develop reliable financial reports; conduct pro-form financial reporting; provide reports as required or requested.
  • Improve financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and prepare financial outlooks.
  • Participate in the budget process; prepare and maintain budgets, outlooks, and variance analysis
  • Determine cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
  • Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Maintain database by entering, verifying, and backing up data; ensure valid and reliable data is maintained in the database.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications, coordinating information requirements.
  • Conduct post mortem reviews upon completion of programs or projects.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of concepts and trends by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.
